Long ago tradition for rain (Dodola/Peperuda).

Rain and water are essential to agriculture. Vaidodola is traditional prayer for rain that is usually initiated in the summer months when the times of drought come.

​

The Prayer itself resembles repetitive melody (sounds and words) like spiritual mantra as it had been elsewhere in the world.

​

According to some interpretations, its roots lie in the Slavonic cult towards The God of thunder Perun and his wife Dodola / Perperuna named as The Goddess of rain.
