We support, initiate and sustain for years:
- Traditional Dancing and Singing Festivals (Vaidodola, Traditional Songs)
- Ancient Customs and Rituals (Kukeri, Old-times Wedding rituals)
- A library with 26,000 books and magazines (for just 1,200 people)
- A fully equipped indoor stage for artistic performances
- A fully equipped outdoor stage for large local and national events
- Extra curriculum activities for kids and youths, also for eldest – photography,
singing, dancing, painting workshops each week/month
- Once a month, each month we invite guests - trainers, speakers and
performers in art, business, education to enrich the cultural life of our residents
(Latino dancers, Theater, Photography trainers)
- We do favor sports – a huge climbing wall has been installed for public use,
and both, the football and tennis courts are being modernized
- We do favor creativity and personal developing – the municipality funds all the
materials for kids and youth’s workshops in photography, painting, acting
- The municipality supports international participation and worldwide tours of
its Traditional-dancing group
- The municipality acts toward preserving historical artifacts – Neolithic Village
and Neolithic museum has been built and managed over the years thanks to
the activities of the Municipality team
- The municipality acts toward providing its kids and youths with modern,
comfortable infrastructure (fully re-built school, workshops and cultural
center, and the kinder garden)
- Dedicated club for eldest people
